Navigator is a browser-based interface that provides an intuitive and easy-to-learn set of tools for administering IBM i systems. Included are new performance management capabilities, more options for spooled file distribution, and many customized options in system status inquiries.

With nothing to install at the client, and the host code built into the operating system and ready to use, this IBM i administration interface is the future of IBM Power Systems management. This session will demonstrate the features, functions, and power of Navigator for I, including:

• An overall understanding of infrastructure and connectivity requirements
• How to navigate many of the most useful features and functions
• How to perform the tasks in Navigator for i that you formerly performed with System i Navigator for Windows
• Understand IBM's support positions regarding IBM i Access for Windows
